Whether it’s a romantic wedding or a corporate retreat, we are here to make sure it is special. The cafe is blessed with stunning views, lush surroundings, and that feeling of getting away from it all. Though located just minutes from the downtown core you’ll feel miles away. Let us help co-ordinate your event so you can sit back and enjoy yourself. There are a variety of options to choose from.

The Algonquin Patio

 

  Facing Algonquin Island, the lagoon and a city view this patio is perfect for the corporate retreat, business meeting or small scale event. With a capacity of 45 people it is ideal for the casual barbeque or may dressed up for a more formal affair

 

The Lakeside Bar

 

  Nestled in the eastern portion of the patio, this area of the cafe can be booked for anything from a cocktail reception to a wedding dinner. The area is yours alone and comes with a private bar.

  Voted as Toronto’s Best Patio it has ample room for larger events. The beauty of the island is stunning from our signature space. You will feel like you have left the city far behind and yet it is just minutes away. Welcome your guests to an escape they won’t soon forget. 

 

The Cafe

 

  Indoors, the cafe has a fireplace, bar and a rustic feel. We share our walls with The Rectory Gallery whose art shows change the first Wednesday of each month. The cafe can accommodate groups of up to 55 people and is open nearly year round.

 

 We offer a variety of menu’s to suit your needs. A personalized menu may also be created if you would prefer.  Thank you for your interest in having your special event at The Rectory Cafe.

 

  A minimum charge may apply to all parties requiring the cafe to close to the public. For groups of 45 and under, the Algonquin Patio is a great alternative for a private affair. A limited choice option based on the cafe’s current menu may be created for those looking for a group reservation.

 

  The following menu options are available for groups between 20 and 55 people.  Main courses must be ordered at least 4 days in advance. For larger groups please see our Buffet options.
